Delete your Naxatra account

Send an email to tech@utsavapp.in from the email or phone number registered on your account, with the subject:

Delete my Naxatra account

Include in the body:

• Your registered phone number (the one used for OTP login)
• Your full name
• Reason for deletion (optional)

We will:

1. Verify your identity by sending an OTP to the registered phone number.
2. Process the deletion within 30 days, as required under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA).
3. Confirm completion via email.

You can also initiate deletion directly from the app:

1. Open Naxatra on your device.
2. Tap the profile icon at the top of the Home screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

The following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Profile information (name, phone number, date of birth, birth time, birth place, and birth coordinates)
• Your generated kundli / horoscope data
• Chat consultation history (all sessions and messages with the AI astrologer)
• Message feedback you submitted
• Active login sessions and device push tokens
• Analytics and attribution identifiers associated with your account

Naxatra is not a financial or payments app, so we do not retain bank, tax, or transaction records.

We may retain a limited, anonymised security and audit log (e.g. account-deletion timestamp and the fact that a request was processed) for up to 90 days to prevent abuse and meet our security obligations. This log contains no personal profile data, kundli details, or chat content. After this period it is automatically purged.
