At Naxatra, privacy isn't a checkbox — it's the whole point. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the guardrails we put around it.

By using the Naxatra app or website, you agree to the practices described here.

• Birth details — date, time, and place you provide to generate your Vedic chart.
• Chat transcripts — your conversations with the AI astrologer, stored encrypted against your account.
• Account info — email, phone number (if used for sign-in), and basic profile details.
• Device telemetry — aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to fix crashes and improve the app.

Your birth chart and chats power your personal astrology experience — that's the only reason we keep them. We do not use your data to train external AI models, sell to advertisers, or enrich third-party profiles.

Production servers are hosted in India. Chats are end-to-end encrypted. Backups are encrypted at rest with keys rotated regularly. We do not share data with foreign intelligence or ad networks.

We use vetted providers for sign-in, payments, and anonymous analytics. Each is bound by data-processing agreements and limited to the scope necessary for the feature.

You can export your data, delete your account, and revoke consent at any time from the app's privacy settings. Account deletion is permanent — we do not retain shadow copies.
